Cox to Air 2009 Braves Season on Channel 11

Macon, GA – As a courtesy to its customers, Cox will air the 2009 Atlanta Braves season on channel 11, Cox Media Marketplace. The first televised game will pit the Braves against the Phillies at 7:00 pm on April 7th.

Last year, Cox aired the 2008 Braves season on Cox15 (channel 15). Due to low ratings, on April 1st, Cox removed Cox15 from the channel lineup and replaced it with Inspiration Network (INSP). Because of the popularity of the Braves however, Cox made the decision to continue to offer coverage of the Braves on channel 11.
